Differences from Real Life
There are 3 main differences to discuss between in game interactions and those in real life. These are
a lack of visual cues, the anonymity of the person you are interacting with,
and a lack of trust.
First, without visual cues, or body language, it is hard to determine another players intentions. It is easy to misinterpret what as person has typed as being hostile when it might not actually be.
Next is anonymity. There is know way of knowing whether what another player is saying to you is true or not. They may not be who they say they are.
Finally, it is difficult to trust another player that you haven't seen, or interacted with in person.
